Don's entire career has been in the service of others. Originally trained to be an educator, then later earning his Master of Arts in Religion, his mission has always been to teach others how to live a more balanced, happy life. He opened his private practice in 1988. Throughout Don's career he has worked with individuals, couples and families of all gender orientations, addressing tough situations with acceptance and encouragement. He has worked with teens and parents, both married and non-married couples, same sex partners, and with individuals.
In 1992 he was certified by the Wm. Glasser Institute in a model called Reality Therapy. This is a model of change that teaches people how to make better choices and have more control over the direction of their lives.
Don lives with his wife Sue, a retired elementary school principal. They have four grown children and two granddaughters. His interests include live theatre, the arts and traveling throughout the United States and Europe. In his free time Don enjoys exercise and competitive tennis. He continues to play and compete.
